How To Turn Off Nsfw Filter On Reddit App

This wikiHow will teach you how to disable not-safe-for-work (NSFW) content on Reddit on your iPhone or iPad. By default, NSFW content is already disabled when you sign up for a new account using the Reddit app from the Apple store. If you log in with an account that doesn't have NSFW content disabled, you will need to log into Reddit on your web browser to change it.

Steps

Go to https://www.reddit.com in your iPhone's browser. In your preferred mobile browser, go to the Reddit homepage.
- You may have to tap the small "mobile site" link at the bottom if you see a pop-up that asks you to open the Reddit app. Don't press the "Continue" button.

Tap Log in/Register . It's in the upper right corner.

Enter your username, password, and click Log in . Enter the username and password for your Reddit account, then click Log In at the bottom.

Tap ☰ . It's the icon with the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner.

Tap Settings . This will redirect you to the Settings menu of the full desktop version of the website.

Log in again. Enter the username and password for your Reddit account, then click Log In on the right.

Tap the checkbox next to "Hide images for NSFW/18+ content. " This is at the top of the "Media" section near the top of the Settings page. Make sure the checkbox is checked so this will ensure NSFW content is hidden by default.

Uncheck the box next to "I am over eighteen years old and willing to view adult content. " This option is found in the "Content options" section at the bottom.

Uncheck the box next to "Include not safe for work (NSFW) search results in searches". This option is found next to "Content options".

Tap save options . It's at the very bottom of the page. You will no longer be able to view not safe for work content on the website or in the Reddit app on your iPhone.

It's important after you check the box that you are over 18 to go scroll down to the bottom and click "Save Changes". The page will then refresh, and you will be able to go back and uncheck the NSFW box. Again, click "Save Changes" afterward!
